Pocket Puppies -should you get one?

Have you seen a surge in those cute little dogs like the Chihuahua ,the little terriers - they are cute right ? But did you know these Lil jokers will bite you in 2 seconds ?,some of them are pretty aggressive too .I guess they feel since they are small, they have to walk hard you know ! So be sure to socialize your pup ,and look into training classes if needed. so it's OK to indulge and get one or two- but beware! Caramel Chic tip -it's better to look at the animal shelter for your new buddy too!

Chicago -How do you like it ?

Chicago is a city with some interesting things about it - Very cold , some singers came from it ,super humid in summer ,ghetto ( who doesn't have a ghetto?),segregated ,and exciting .I'm cool with most of it except the segregation and the cold- yuk! To live here is an experience - i like Kanye West's song -Coming home w Coldplay . It kinda sums it all up . I welcome anyone who's experienced the Chi to tell it like it tis!

Soul Travel - Yes You Can Too!

I can' t wait until my next trip - anywhere ,somewhere ! travel is just good for you . And you don't have to know anyone at your destination either ! why do people always ask that when you say you are going somewhere anyway?-"do you know anybody in -----?" nope i don't- i just want to see what's it all about ya know? i have to say my favorite trip that was a good price was thru http://www.royalcaribean.com/ for the 4 day Bahamas cruise- it was very cool ,thru Nassau and key west . the cruise director was actually a young black man !- we were super geeked about that . we went to all his parties and everything -just because ,well sometimes you feel a little more confident about new experiences when you see friendly,familiar faces-yes it's true . with that in mind,my relatives just returned from a theme cruise ,a all Jazz lovers cruise with Norwegian cruise line. It's all good to go with your passion - at least you know you will be comfortable.I love the site http://www.soulofamerica.com/ it kind of goes thru all the popular cities and events that's frequented and comfortable for African Americans,in this country,its a great site to check on before you book that trip.We will visit more travel destinations soon !

Bargan hunting-forget black friday!

Hey - if you don't like to push and shove and generally get beat up and down while shopping , forget about that black Friday business ,just go to my favorite places for a bargain life-
*1st Marshalls,Tj maxx or similar . the deals are fantastic and likely the items are one of a kind,due to buyouts from other sources.
*2ND the unique boutique or the secondhand store -there's no shame in shopping here! besides be unique and smart too-keep your eyes open it's a hunt!
*3rd http://www.amazon.com/ -for books go for the used section,i mean its not like the words are gonna change when someone else reads it 1st .all the books i bought here were pristine.
*4Th http://www.overstock.com/ oh the savings on whatever you like just about -you gotta see this one!

Skating ol skool- welcomes me back!

Hey yah!- i just had the best time skating after a long break (about 9 mo worth) at Rich City Skating rink in Richton park on Sauk trail http://www.richcityskate.com/ ! check it and hear some James Brown -classic skaters music baby! it was so good to get back and do what i love after my pregnancy,ya know. i wa so wobbly an nervous that i would fall -scary! but i didnt fall , i just looked funny ,i know it. the 1st time a new mom is out having a good time is kinda bittersweet,she's happy to get back into the swing of things -but always misses her baby! oh well that's life ,right? to all you skaters out there roll out!
